Private group picture with Z. Noszticzius, W. D. McCormick, R. M. Noyes, P. Ruoff, R. J. Field, E. Kőrös, L. Gyorgyi, and T. Turanyi.

The private group photo was taken (most likely) after a revisit of the `non-bromide-controlled BZ oscillation' discussion, discovered by Z. Noszticzius, which started at the 1988 GRC. Laci Gyorgyi had come back to the US after returning to Hungary a few months earlier. Dick Field thought that his 1988 paper [Kshirsagar et al., 1988] on silver ion perturbation that led eventually to Dick Noyes 's 1989 paper [Noyes et al., 1989] had resolved the non-bromide ion control question. However, somebody, either Zoli Noszticzius or perhaps Peter Ruoff, wanted to discuss it further - so we did.  Richard Field recalls, to his relief, Bill McCormick led the resistance to the people (person) who didn't believe the 1989 paper (Image courtesy by Richard J. Field).
