Project in process!

We REALLY welcome comments, corrections, and contributions here.

Please send us even small typos (especially regarding all the names we try to display correctly in their native spelling).

I thank the College of Wooster's "Sophomore Research Program" for supporting various students on this project and the 2017 Institute for Liberal Arts Digital Scholarship workshop (ILiADS2017).

Luba Sidorova (supported by an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Grant) is working during the 2018/2019 academic year on remaining issues with original Russian publications.

Special thank to the the Library of the Semenov Institute of Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Институт химической физики им. Н.Н. Семенова Российской академии наук) in Moscow for providing access to many Russian publications.

This website became reality during the summer 2017, when Mirkamil Mijit '19 uploaded all then available items and started working on the zoomable timeline, while David Hale '19 worked on the item metadata side of the project and created many of the exhibits and sub-pages.
Another boost for the project came during the week-long ILiADS2017, a digital scholarship workshop in August 2017.

In 2018, Dennis Bolshakov '19 helped with many Cyrillic issues. Tanaka Chingonzo '21 started working with me in 2018 on various aspect including implementing the zoomable timeline during the summer 2018. Currently, he is implementing new sub pages, continues to work on the zoomable timeline, and is correcting typos and updating content.
