A box will be available for donations in Lowry from Wed, May2-Wed, May 9
The Clothesline Project has appeared in cities and on college campuses all over the nation to speak out against domestic violence and sexual assault. It is a vehicle for women and men affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt (for themselves or someone they love). A clothesline display of shirts from students at COW & in the Wooster community will be displayed in October 2007 as a visual representation of how violence affects our community.
If you'd like to become involved in the planning for next October, contact Dr. Christa Craven, ccraven@wooster.edu. And if you'd like to make a T-shirt for the display, you can send it anonymously via intercampus mail to Dr. Draven (Kauke).
The Clothesline Project is sponsored by the Wooster Activities Crew, the Women's Resource Center, and the Women's Studies Program.
Additional sponsors & volunteers will be needed in the Fall!
